How fast does mouth cancer grow?

My father has a sore in his mouth that hasn't healed in a while, and it's making us all concerned. My neighbour mentioned that mouth cancer can be quite aggressive. How fast does mouth cancer usually grow?

How fast it grows really depends on the type of cell and the stage, but some oral lesions can change surprisingly fast over a few weeks or months. It is always best not to wait and watch. If you have a patch or ulcer that hasn't healed in two weeks, get a biopsy done.

I totally get it, just the thought of this can make your heart race and cause so much sleeplessness. It can grow quietly, sometimes taking months, or sometimes showing rapid changes. Please don't sit with this fear alone; go see an ENT specialist to get peace of mind.

Beta, while mild mouth ulcers can be treated with a little turmeric or honey at home, any hard lump or sore that stays for more than ten days is not normal. Cancerous growths do not wait and can spread deep into the jaw if ignored. Please show it to a proper doctor immediately.

Growth rates vary wildly; some aggressive types can double in size in just a couple of months. Do not waste time trying to guess the speed on internet forums. Book an appointment with an oncologist or an oral surgeon this week for a proper clinical exam.

While eating fresh, antioxidant-rich green vegetables and avoiding spicy, burning foods supports oral health, it cannot stop a malignant tumor from growing. Some mouth cancers can progress quite rapidly. Please get a clinical checkup instead of relying on diet changes.

Have faith and stay positive, but remember that the divine has given us doctors to help in times of need. These growths can progress within months and need timely action. Please take care of yourself and visit a specialist without any delay.

Honestly, do not trust anyone on the internet telling you a timeline or suggesting home remedies for this. Some oral cancers grow extremely fast and every week matters. Only an oncologist can tell you what is happening after a proper biopsy.

I am also trying to understand this because my grandfather has a small ulcer under his tongue that hasn't gone for three weeks. Does it always grow very fast, or can it sometimes stay small for a long time? We are planning to visit a clinic this Friday.

Daily pranayama and clean living keep our cells healthy, but they cannot cure or slow down an active malignancy once it starts. Mouth cancers can spread to nearby lymph nodes fairly quickly. Please seek medical intervention immediately alongside your wellness practices.

Hey, my uncle had a small white patch that we thought was just a normal mouth burn, but it started growing really fast within a couple of months. Don't take it lightly or google too much, just get it checked by a dentist or doctor asap.
