How fast does a heart attack happen?

My neighbour had a heart attack and was gone in minutes. It makes me wonder, how quickly can a heart attack happen, from the first symptom to a critical stage?

In my 70 years, I have seen that it doesn't always happen in a split second like they show in movies. Many times, people feel a dull ache, heavy breathing, or discomfort for hours before realizing it. Keeping calm and calling for help immediately is key.

It can build up over several hours, but a massive block can happen within minutes. My husband ignored mild shoulder pain for half a day, which led to severe complications later. Please, if you feel any unusual chest pressure or sudden sweating, go to a doctor immediately.

Bhai, sometimes it comes slowly with gas-like pain in the chest that spreads to the hand, and sometimes it happens very fast. Do not ignore any sudden sweating or heavy breathing. It is always better to show a doctor in the city hospital quickly.

A heart attack can happen in minutes due to a ruptured plaque, but the actual block builds up over years of poor lifestyle. To prevent this, focus on a clean diet and 150 minutes of weekly cardio. But if you suspect one happening right now, skip the gym and call an ambulance.

Look, don't sit around calculating minutes. A heart attack can happen suddenly, or the pain can slowly increase over 2-3 hours. If you feel pressure like an elephant sitting on your chest, stop googling and go straight to the nearest emergency room.

The onset can range from a few minutes to several hours of warning signs. In a busy schedule, we often ignore fatigue or mild chest tightness as stress, which is dangerous. Keep a list of nearby 24/7 hospitals on your phone for emergencies.

I survived one last year. For me, the discomfort started as a mild burning sensation in the chest that I thought was acidity, but within 30 minutes it became intense pressure. Don't wait around; acting fast in those first few minutes saved my life.
