How fast can kidney failure occur?

My brother's friend had sudden kidney failure, and it was a shock to everyone. It makes me wonder, how quickly can kidney failure happen in someone who seems otherwise healthy? Is it usually a gradual process or can it be rapid?

Beta, if there is a sudden poison, severe infection, or big dehydration, kidneys can stop working in just a few days, which they call acute. But normally, sugar and BP damage them very slowly over many years. Take care of your health, eat simple home food, and always consult a good doctor.

Depending on the cause, it can either happen silently over many years or very suddenly in a few days. Whatever the situation, keep a calm mind and stay positive, as anxiety only weakens the body. Follow your medical treatments with faith and take care of your daily habits.

Acute kidney injury can actually cause failure within a couple of days due to severe dehydration, infections, or certain strong medications. On the other hand, chronic kidney disease takes years of gradual damage. If you ever notice sudden swelling, low urine output, or extreme nausea, please head to a hospital immediately.

Don't get frightened by reading scary things, child. My neighbor has had kidney issues for fifteen years now, and with proper diet and timely medicine, he is doing quite well. Just keep your blood pressure in control and consult your specialist regularly.

In chronic cases, kidney function declines gradually over several years due to lifestyle imbalances. However, sudden acute failures can happen in a week due to trauma or infection. Along with gentle yoga and hydration to support kidney flow, regular medical checkups are essential to monitor your levels.
