I tried so many home remedies, from haldi doodh to methi seeds, but for severe joint pain, modern medicine is needed. Some people in my support group say Otezla worked well for them, but you have to give it a few months. Keep doing your warm water compresses alongside whatever medicine your doctor gives.

Honestly, please be very careful and consult a proper rheumatologist. I was put on Otezla but ended up having terrible nausea and severe stomach issues, so my doctor had to change it. Everyone reacts differently, so don't start anything without a specialist's supervision.

While you discuss Otezla with your doctor, I highly recommend adding gentle Sukshma Vyayama and regular Pranayama to your morning routine. In my experience with joint issues, keeping the body mobile gently helps the medicine work much better. It reduces stiffness and keeps the mind calm during treatment.

My cousin advised me to try some local herbal oils for the arthritis pain, which is fine for temporary relief, but for the main treatment we must trust our doctor. My rheumatologist suggested this medication and explained that it works slowly but safely on the immune system. Do discuss it properly with your specialist.

I completely panicked when my doc suggested this because the reviews online look scary with all the side effects. But honestly, once I started, the initial mild headache went away in a week and my joint swelling actually got much better. Just trust the process and give it some time to work.
