How does testosterone help erectile dysfunction?

Dealing with erectile dysfunction for some time now has been quite bothersome. I heard that testosterone therapy might help, but I'm not clear on how. How does testosterone actually work to improve erectile dysfunction?

Before buying expensive hormone gels or pills, get a total testosterone blood test done, which costs around 500 to 800 rupees in most local labs. Planning your tests first saves you from spending thousands on treatments you might not even need.

Look, testosterone only helps if your ED is actually caused by low hormone levels. If the issue is blood flow or stress, taking extra hormones won't do anything and might even harm you. Go get a proper blood test first.

Testosterone helps by boosting your libido and improving nitric oxide levels, which are essential for erections. However, in my years of interacting with patients, most ED cases are related to diabetes or high stress, so a complete health checkup is always the best first step.
