How does prostate pain feel like?
Some discomfort lately has made me wonder if it's related to the prostate, as a friend mentioned. Can someone describe what prostate pain actually feels like? Is it a dull ache, sharp pain, or something else?

Yes, I agree with others. It usually feels like a dull, heavy ache right between the scrotum and anus, often getting worse when you sit down.
Honestly, it feels super uncomfortable, like a constant pressure or throbbing down there. It also makes you feel like you need to pee every five minutes, but when you go, it burns or barely comes out.
I had a mild burning sensation there once and immediately freaked out thinking it was something life-threatening. It turned out to be mild prostatitis, but the constant worry made the pain feel ten times worse. Definitely get it checked so you don't lose sleep overthinking.
My husband went through this painful phase last year. He described it as a deep, aching pain in the pelvis that sometimes radiates to the lower back and groin. Sitting on a soft cushion and warm sitz baths really helped ease his discomfort.
