How does one get hepatitis b?

I am planning to travel abroad for work, and some of my friends suggested getting vaccinated for Hepatitis B. Before I decide, I want to understand how it's transmitted and what the risks are if I don't get vaccinated.

Hepatitis B is actually a blood-borne virus, so it does not spread through food or water like Hep A. However, keeping your overall immunity strong with a clean, nutrient-dense diet is always beneficial. Make sure any medical procedures you undergo use completely sterilized equipment.

I was researching this yesterday because I was confused. It turns out Hep B doesn't spread through casual contact, sneezing, or sharing utensils. It only contracts via infected blood, semen, or other body fluids, like during childbirth or unsafe needles. It is actually quite reassuring to know how it actually spreads.

I got my Hep B vaccination done before joining college because it spreads through blood and bodily fluids. You can easily get it from unsterile needles at a cheap tattoo parlor or unsafe physical contact. Just get vaccinated, it's three simple doses and you are safe for life.

A relative of mine suffered severe liver complications because of chronic Hepatitis B that went undetected for years. It is highly infectious through blood and fluid contact, so please do not take any risks. Go to a proper laboratory for testing and consult a specialist if you suspect exposure.

With PCOS, I am always cautious about any systemic infections affecting my health. Hep B spreads through infected blood or intimate contact, not casually. I always check that my salon uses fresh, sterilized tools for any skin treatments, and I'd suggest everyone do the same.

Thankfully, Hep B has nothing to do with our love for spicy street food, as it only spreads through blood-to-blood contact or bodily fluids. So we can keep enjoying our chaat safely! Just be careful about dental hygiene setups or tattoo needles being clean.
