How does one develop asthma?

My son has been having a persistent cough and sometimes wheezing after playing outside. My mother also has asthma, so I'm worried if it's something he might develop too. What causes it?

I always worry when the air quality gets bad in winters, thinking what if it triggers permanent asthma. My doctor told me it can develop from severe allergies or constant exposure to smoke and dust. Please get your breathing checked if you feel any tightness in your chest, it's better to be safe than sorry.

It usually starts due to a mix of genetics and environmental triggers like heavy pollution or dust. I find that keeping my cardiovascular health strong with regular cardio helps, though you have to be careful during high-pollen seasons. Keep your diet clean and focus on breathing right during your workouts.

Just like my thyroid issues, respiratory problems can also crop up unexpectedly due to environmental changes or genetic factors. I highly suggest visiting a specialist for regular lung function tests. Don't self-medicate with random syrups; a proper doctor's follow-up is the only way to manage it safely.

I got diagnosed with asthma during college because of the crazy dust and pollution here. It basically happens when your airways get inflamed easily by triggers like smoke or cold air. If you are coughing a lot at night or during workouts, just go get an inhaler prescribed, it changed my life.

True, it is mostly a combination of genetic history and allergens like mold or pollution. Getting a simple spirometry test at a clinic will give you a clear answer quickly.

I completely understand how scary it feels when you suddenly struggle to breathe and worry about asthma. It can develop from childhood allergies or even adult-onset due to high pollution levels. Trust me, getting it evaluated by a doctor really helps calm that anxiety down.

My son developed it after a bad bout of bronchitis when he was five, especially triggered by dust and cold weather. We keep the house super clean and dust-free now to avoid triggers. If you or your child are wheezing often, please see a pediatrician or pulmonologist early to manage it.

Developing asthma can happen due to long-term exposure to allergens, and sometimes bad lifestyle habits like smoking make it much worse. Just like managing my blood pressure, keeping a check on your breathing triggers is key. Make sure to get regular health checkups to monitor your lung capacity.
