How does kidney failure happen?

I've been trying to educate myself more about common health problems, and kidney failure seems to be a very serious one. What are the typical causes or conditions that lead to the kidneys completely failing? Is it usually a sudden thing or a gradual process?

Kidney failure suddenly nahi hota, it happens slowly over years because of diabetes or BP, ho na. When we ignore our health for a long time, the kidneys suffer silently and finally stop working.

It mostly happens when high blood sugar or blood pressure slowly damages the filtering units in your kidneys over time! Keeping a check on your routine test reports is the best way to prevent it! 💧

I went through kidney failure due to years of unmanaged hypertension. It happens when the blood vessels in the kidneys get hard and scarred. My tip is to check your serum creatinine levels every six months if you have BP or sugar.

I tried many ayurvedic herbs and home drinks for years, but let me tell you, chronic kidney failure cannot be cured by home remedies alone once the damage starts. It usually happens from neglected diabetes or high BP, so take your doctor's medicine on time.

I had acute kidney injury last year due to severe dehydration and a bad infection. Luckily, because we rushed to the hospital on time, my kidneys recovered. It shows how fast infections or dehydration can shut them down.

When my doctor first told me my creatinine was slightly high, I panicked and thought my kidneys were failing completely. But with simple diet changes and proper medication, my levels went back to normal. It is highly manageable if caught early.

Kidney failure can be acute, which is sudden due to toxins or infections, or chronic, which is slow damage over years. Keep track of your blood pressure and blood sugar. If you see sudden swelling or decreased urine, go to a hospital immediately.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Just keep yourself hydrated, avoid eating too much junk salt, and get your regular checkups done. Unless you have long-term untreated issues, your kidneys are quite tough.

The main culprit is high blood pressure. A simple solution is to reduce salt in your daily dal and sabzi, and walk for 30 minutes. It costs nothing but keeps your kidneys safe from failing.

Actually, a lot of people don't realize that overusing strong painkiller pills regularly can also cause sudden kidney failure, yaar. It is not just diabetes. Always ask your doc before popping those pills.
