How does exercise improve diabetes?

My father has diabetes, and I'm trying to encourage him to be more active. He's a bit skeptical about it, so I want to explain it properly. How does exercising actually improve diabetes management?

Bro, don't stress too much about strict gym routines right now. Just start walking with your favorite music on or play some badminton in the evening. It burns the extra sugar in your body and keeps you happy, which also stops stress-related spikes. Super chill way to manage it!

If you look at the economics, regular walking reduces your dependency on high medicine doses and insulin over time. You will save so much on quarterly lab tests if you just commit to daily home workouts or climbing stairs. It is the most cost-effective prescription you can get.

I get so worried when I see fluctuating sugar levels, but moving around really helps calm my anxiety and lower the readings. Just be careful not to overdo it suddenly on an empty stomach, as that might cause a sudden drop. Maybe carry a small candy or some juice with you just to be safe?

I used to think walking a bit here and there was enough, and I ignored my rising fasting numbers until they went totally out of hand. Exercise really does help lower the insulin resistance, but you must get a proper medical checkup done first. Please don't delay it like I did.

Haan na, daily walking makes such a huge difference! My uncle started yoga and a small evening walk, and his energy levels improved so much. It keeps the sugar levels steady throughout the day, ho na. You just have to be regular with it.
