How does electronegativity affect acidity?

For my medical entrance exams, some basic chemistry concepts like this get confusing. Can someone explain in simple terms how electronegativity impacts the acidity of a molecule? It would really help me clear my doubts.

At my age, when someone says 'acidity', I only think of Eno and gelusil, haha! But in chemistry, high electronegativity of an atom pulls electrons away from the hydrogen, making it easy for the H+ ion to leave and increasing the acidity. My stomach acidity is much simpler and painful!

This chemical concept of electronegativity and acid strength is fine for textbooks, but if you are experiencing actual acid reflux symptoms, please don't ignore it. I ignored my severe stomach burning thinking it was normal, and it led to painful ulcers. Go get a proper medical checkup done.

I am preparing for my exams and trying to understand this topic. So, does a more electronegative atom always make the molecule more acidic because it stabilizes the negative charge? Please let me know if there are any exceptions to this rule.

I remember from my college chemistry that highly electronegative elements stabilize the conjugate base, which increases the acidity. Since I deal with PCOS, I am always cautious about hormonal and metabolic balance, so I prefer checking such scientific facts with proper textbooks or teachers rather than guessing.

In molecular chemistry, electronegative atoms pull the electron density, making the hydrogen bond weak and highly acidic. However, if you are asking this because you are trying to understand pH levels or metabolic acidosis in your body, please consult a medical doctor. Complications from internal body acidity can be very dangerous.
