How does eczema look?
There are some red, itchy patches on my arms and behind my knees, and I'm worried it might be eczema. Can someone describe what typical eczema looks like, especially in early stages? I want to know if I should see a doctor.

It actually looks like a very bad dry patch that just won't go away, yaar. Sometimes it gets bumpy and if you scratch it, it looks raw and red. Just don't use regular scented soaps on it, it makes it look way worse.

On Indian skin tones, it doesn't always look bright red, it actually looks more like dark brown or grayish dry patches. It gets super scaly and feels like sandpaper when you touch it. I just slather on heavy cream to keep it from looking so rough.
