How does appendix pain feel?

My son complained of a stomach ache near his navel yesterday, and my mother-in-law immediately worried about appendix. I'm not sure what to look for. Can someone describe what appendix pain actually feels like, and where it's usually located?

Actually, it is a very weird pain, yaar. It starts like a mild ache around your navel, but within hours, it shifts to the lower right side and becomes so sharp you can't even stand up straight or walk properly.

It is not a simple stomach ache that can be cured with ginger tea or ajwain. It starts near the belly button and slowly moves to the lower right side, becoming very sharp. If it is severe, do not try any home remedies and go straight to the hospital.

I had my appendix removed last month. The pain was constant and kept getting worse when I coughed, sneezed, or took deep breaths. I also had a mild fever and felt very nauseous, so I knew it wasn't just a regular gastric issue.

Haan, it is seriously painful, na. Normal gas ka pain toh thodi der me chala jata hai, but this one just keeps increasing and makes you curl up in bed. Bilkul risk mat lo and go see a doc.

Does the pain always start near the belly button, or can it start directly on the right side? I have a dull ache on my right side today and I am a bit worried if it could be this.

I made the mistake of ignoring the pain for two days thinking it was food poisoning, and my appendix almost ruptured. It was a terrible mistake. If the pain is sharp, constant, and accompanied by vomiting, go to the emergency room immediately.

I had my appendix surgery back in the 80s, and the pain is something you cannot ignore. It feels like a severe, twisting cramp on the right side that makes it difficult to even lift your right leg. Modern surgery is very simple now, so don't worry if that's what is needed.

Hey, don't stress too much, but if you have a sharp, stabbing pain in your lower right abdomen that hurts when you press it, you need to get it checked. It's better to be safe and let a doctor examine it quickly.

It is a severe, localized pain in the lower right side of the stomach that gets worse with any movement. Please seek medical help immediately.

I usually try warm water or hing for stomach issues, but when my cousin had appendix pain, nothing helped at all. The pain was extremely intense and worsened with any movement. It's a clear sign that you need proper medical attention, not home cures.
