How does a person get prostate cancer?

My elder brother was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, which came as a shock to our family. I'm trying to understand more about it. What are the common ways or factors that lead a person to get prostate cancer?

Honestly, age and genetics play a major role in this, and we can't control everything. But keeping a highly active lifestyle with regular brisk walking and clean food helps your overall body defenses. If your doctor allows, daily exercise is the best way to keep things functioning well as we get older.

It mostly happens due to changes in the DNA of prostate cells as men grow older. Nothing to panic about, but regular health checkups after 50 are a must! Just stay active and keep smiling, prevention is always better. 😊

My uncle went through this last year, and the doctor told us it's mostly a mix of aging and family history. There is no single direct cause you can point to, it just develops slowly over time. Please make sure the elders in your family get their routine PSA tests done.

Basically, cell mutations in the prostate gland cause it, often linked to age, diet, and sometimes family genes. I keep track of all my dad's annual health parameters on my fitness app so we never miss his screening schedules. Modern tracking makes catching these things early so much easier.

Look, with our hectic desk jobs, we ignore health, but prostate issues are mostly linked to aging and sometimes genetic factors. Don't waste hours reading random blogs on the internet. Just schedule an annual screening for the men in your family who are above 45 or 50, it takes just an hour.

I was actually reading about this yesterday out of curiosity. It seems there's no single reason, but things like being over 50, family history, and even diet play a part. Cells in the prostate just start growing out of control due to genetic changes.

When my father was diagnosed, we went to a top urologist at Kokilaben Hospital to understand this. He explained that it's highly connected to aging and family genetics, not any one bad habit. Don't guess these things, go to a proper hospital and get a specialist to explain it to you clearly.
