How does a gastroenterologist check your liver?

My family doctor recently suggested I see a gastroenterologist because of some unusual reports, and mentioned they might check my liver. I'm a bit anxious and want to know what procedures they typically use to examine the liver. Will it be painful?

They start by physically pressing your upper right abdomen to check for swelling. When I had liver issues, I tried many herbal drinks, but the doctor rightly ordered an ultrasound and LFT blood tests to get the actual picture. Don't rely only on home cures for the liver.

Actually, my dad had this checkup recently. The doc just wrote some routine blood tests and did an ultrasound scan of his stomach. It's pretty chill and standard, nothing scary.

They usually start with a simple blood test called LFT and a quick ultrasound scan of your tummy! It's totally painless and super quick, so don't worry at all 🌻

They check through blood work like Liver Function Tests and imaging like a FibroScan. I once ignored mild right-side pain and fatigue, thinking it was simple gas, and ended up with fatty liver stage 2. Please get it checked properly by a specialist on time.

Haan na, starting mein they just check by pressing the stomach with hands. Phir clear reports ke liye blood test aur ultrasound likhte hain. Tension lene ki bilkul baat nahi hai, go and get the tests done.
