How do you sleep with back pain?

My lower back pain has gotten really bad recently, especially when I lie down in bed. I toss and turn all night and can't get comfortable at all. What are some good sleeping positions or tips for sleeping with chronic back pain?

Haan, back pain mein sona toh bahut mushkil hota hai. Apne knees ke neeche ek pillow rakh kar so jao, usse back par pressure kam padta hai, na.

I once ignored minor back discomfort until it became a major disc issue. Please don't just adjust your sleeping position, go see an orthopedist before it gets worse.

Finding the right angle with back pain is like solving a high-level math puzzle! Try using extra pillows for support so you don't wake up feeling like a statue.

Sleeping on your side with a pillow between your knees can help keep your spine aligned. But for any persistent back issues, please consult a physiotherapist.

Personally, switching to a medium-firm mattress and sleeping flat on my back with a thin pillow has helped reduce my morning stiffness significantly.

My doctor advised that maintaining spinal alignment is key during sleep. He suggested sleeping on the side with a pillow tucked between the knees to reduce lumbar strain.

Using a small rolled-up towel under your lower back or knees can provide practical relief. Ensure your mattress isn't too saggy as that worsens back alignment.
