How do you know if you have tb?

My colleague has been diagnosed with TB, and now I'm worried because we share an office. I've had a cough for a few weeks now and feel tired all the time. What are the common indicators for TB?

Back in my days, many people in our village had TB, and the main sign was a cough that just wouldn't go away for more than 2-3 weeks, along with night sweats. Don't worry because nowadays the treatment is completely successful and free in government clinics. Just get a sputum test done if you have a lingering cough.

For a normal cough, warm ginger water and honey are very good to soothe the throat. But if the cough lasts more than three weeks, or if you see blood in your spit and are losing weight, these home tips won't work. You must go to a hospital and get your chest X-ray done immediately.

If you are feeling extremely fatigued, losing weight rapidly, and coughing constantly, it could be TB. While you must rest and let the antibiotics work, you can ask your doctor if light walking is okay to keep your blood circulation going. First focus entirely on getting diagnosed and starting your medical course.

When my domestic help had a persistent fever and weight loss, we took her to a reputed hospital. The doctors did a chest X-ray and a sputum culture test to confirm tuberculosis. If you have similar symptoms, please visit a proper hospital and ask the doctor for these specific tests.

I went through TB treatment a few years ago and the constant fever, night sweats, and fatigue really drained me emotionally. If you are experiencing these symptoms, please know you are not alone and it is fully curable. Please visit a doctor soon to get tested so you can start healing.
