How do you know if you had a mini stroke?

Last week, I had a sudden bout of dizziness and my left arm felt weak for a few minutes. My wife said my speech was a bit slurred too. It passed quickly, but now I'm worried if it could have been a mini stroke. What are the signs, actually?

Honestly, you can't always tell for sure without a proper scan. If you suddenly felt numbness, speaking issues, or lost balance even for a few minutes and then felt fine, don't ignore it. Book a doctor appointment immediately instead of waiting to see if it happens again.

These tests like MRI can be quite expensive in big private hospitals, so it is better to get a doctor's referral first. You can also check government diagnostic centers or local trust clinics where scans are done at half the price. But please do not delay this to save money, health comes first.

My uncle had this last year and he just felt a sudden blurriness in his eyes and dropped his tea cup. It lasted like ten minutes and he thought it was just weakness. Please get it checked by a doc, don't take these sudden weird symptoms lightly.

I actually saw my dad go through a TIA. His left arm suddenly went totally numb and he was slurring his words, but in half an hour he was absolutely normal. We rushed him to the emergency room immediately. If you felt anything similar, go straight to a hospital right now.

Haan na, these things are very scary because they go away so fast. People think temporary weakness is just due to tiredness. But it is a big warning sign given by the body. Better to consult a neurologist and get proper peace of mind, ho na?
