How do you know if you get mouth cancer?

I've been noticing a persistent sore inside my mouth that doesn't seem to heal, and I'm getting a bit worried. I used to chew paan masala quite a bit. What are the key symptoms, and how do you know if you might have mouth cancer?

I agree that any red or white patch in the mouth that doesn't heal for more than two weeks should be checked by an ENT specialist immediately.

If you notice a painless ulcer or lump in your mouth that persists, go to a government dental college or civil hospital. They offer biopsy tests and specialist consultations at extremely nominal rates, so you don't have to delay diagnosis due to high private hospital fees.

Honestly, don't ignore any weird sores or lumps on your tongue or gums that don't go away like normal mouth ulcers. If you chew tobacco or smoke, it's even more important to stop immediately and get a dentist to look at it.

Hey there! 🌸 Just check if you have any stubborn white patches or trouble chewing and swallowing. Don't panic, but do get a quick dental checkup to be absolutely sure and stay safe! 😊

Do not search your symptoms on the internet or try applying turmeric or home ointments to an ulcer that won't heal. Mouth cancer can present as a simple painless sore, a lump, or difficulty in moving your jaw, and only an oncologist or oral surgeon can diagnose it through a biopsy. Get it checked professionally.
