How do you grt kidney stones?

My uncle recently had kidney stones, and he said the pain was excruciating. I'm concerned because I don't drink much water. What are the main reasons people get kidney stones, and are there specific habits that lead to them?

Don't stress, kidney stones are very common and highly treatable. They usually form when you don't drink enough water, causing minerals to crystallize in your urine. Just start tracking your daily water intake and keep a bottle with you at all times.

I am experiencing a dull pain in my lower side and I'm a bit scared it might be a stone. Does drinking a lot of coconut water or barley water help dissolve them naturally, or is that just a myth?

The cheapest and most effective solution is to drink 3-4 liters of water daily without fail. Also, reduce your consumption of extra table salt and spinach, as they can contribute to stone formation. No need to buy expensive supplements for basic prevention.

Haan, kam paani peene se hi pathri hoti hai, especially garmiyon me jab hum cold drinks zyada peete hain aur paani bhool jaate hain na. Stick to normal water and fresh nimbu paani, it really helps keep the system clean.

Please do not ignore a stone thinking it will just pass with water. I delayed my treatment and ended up with a severe kidney infection and blockages that required emergency surgery. Go to a urologist and get an ultrasound done before it gets complicated.

Whenever I have health issues, I go straight to a reputed hospital for an ultrasound rather than guessing. Stones can be of different types, like calcium oxalate or uric acid, and only a doctor can tell you the exact cause and treatment after testing.

Metabolic imbalances can sometimes play a role in how our bodies process minerals, which might lead to stones. It’s hard to say what the exact cause is for you, so keeping a food diary and consulting a physician is the safest path.

They are mainly caused by chronic dehydration and high salt intake, which causes minerals to crystallize in the kidneys.

I got a 6mm stone last year because I had a habit of sitting for hours with very low water intake. For me, drinking lemon water daily and increasing my overall fluid intake helped pass it naturally, but everyone's body is different.

Many people don't realize that eating too much spinach, tomatoes with seeds, and high-oxalate foods like chocolate can trigger stones if hydration is low. Balance your diet with adequate calcium from milk or curd, which actually binds oxalate in your gut.

Bro, the pain of a kidney stone is no joke, it literally bent me double. I used to survive on energy drinks and high salt junk food, which my doc said was the main trigger. Hydrate properly unless you want to experience that nightmare.

Stones occur when substances like calcium, oxalate, and uric acid become highly concentrated in the urine. Staying hydrated dilutes these minerals so they can't stick together. If you have sudden, severe back pain or blood in urine, please see a doctor immediately.
