How do you give a tb skin test?

I'm a medical student, and we're learning about different diagnostic tests. I want to understand the procedure for the TB skin test properly. Can someone explain in simple terms how you give a TB skin test?

My doctor ordered a TB skin test before starting some of my hormonal therapies just to be safe. It is a very quick pinch on the arm, but please make sure you don't scratch or put any band-aid over the area while waiting for the results. Let the medical staff handle the reading after two days.

I was researching this for my visa application, and it is also called the Mantoux test. The nurse injects a tiny amount of fluid just under the top layer of skin on your forearm, which creates a small bump. You have to go back to the clinic after 48 to 72 hours so they can measure the bump to see if it's positive.

Humare yahan sarkari hospital mein ye test bahut aasan tareeqe se kar dete hain. Ek choti si sui lagate hain haath par aur fir do din baad bulakar naapte hain ki sujan kitni hai. Aap tension mat lijiye, bahut aam aur sasta test hai.

This test is done by a trained nurse, so do not try to understand or do anything yourself. Just like we go for our regular blood pressure and sugar screenings, this is a standard test to check for exposure. Go to a proper clinic and let them administer it safely.

A healthcare professional must perform this test; they inject a small liquid under your forearm skin and read it after 2-3 days.

For people with diabetes, keeping track of any infections is vital since our immunity can be slightly lower. The TB skin test is very simple and doesn't require any fasting or diet changes. Just make sure the injection site is kept clean and dry until the doctor checks it.
