How do you contract typhoid?

There have been a few cases of typhoid in our locality lately, and I'm quite worried. How do people contract typhoid? I want to know about the transmission methods to ensure my family and I take proper precautions, especially with food and water.

Haan, typhoid toh contaminated food aur paani se hi hota hai, especially outside food. Salmonella bacteria ki wajah se hota hai, toh hygienic jagah se hi khana khao na. Agar tej bukhaar ho toh turant doctor ko dikhao, ghar pe mat baitho.

My grandmother always tells us to drink boiled water to prevent typhoid, and she is absolutely right. Our doctor also confirmed it spreads through contaminated food and water. We always drink filtered, boiled water at home, and I suggest getting a doctor's advice if you feel sick.

Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi. It spreads when people consume food or water handled by someone who has the infection, or if sewage contaminates the drinking water supply. Keeping your hands washed and getting vaccinated can save you from this.

Typhoid spreads through contaminated food and water, and it completely drains your body's energy. If you are recovering, don't rush back to the gym or running. Only start with very light, gentle walks if your doctor permits, and focus on clean, cooked food.

My daughter got typhoid last year, probably from drinking some juice outside school. It was heartbreaking to see her with such a high fever and stomach pain. Please ensure your kids wash their hands regularly and avoid eating raw, unpeeled fruits from outside vendors.
