How do you catch tb tuberculosis?

There have been a few cases of TB reported in my area recently, and it's quite concerning. How exactly does one catch Tuberculosis from another person? I want to understand the risks so we can be careful.

TB is an airborne bacterial infection, meaning you catch it when you breathe in the droplets from an infected person's cough or sneeze. It typically requires prolonged close contact, like living with someone who has active lung TB. It is highly curable today, so there is no need for social stigma.

Tuberculosis spreads through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. Managing my blood pressure has taught me that keeping our immune system strong and getting regular health checkups is key to fighting off any exposure. If you have a cough lasting over two weeks, get it checked immediately.

TB is caused by bacteria that spread through the air when an active patient coughs. Since it is an airborne thing, having a strong immune system through a protein-rich diet and regular exercise is your best natural shield. But if you have been exposed, see a doctor instead of relying only on fitness.

Honestly, I am so sleep-deprived that my immune system is probably hanging by a thread, which makes me paranoid about airborne stuff like TB! You catch it by inhaling droplets from someone who has active tuberculosis of the lungs. I should probably sleep more and avoid crowded spaces for a bit.

It is basically an airborne bacterial infection, so if you are in close contact with someone who has active TB and they cough near you, you can breathe in those bacteria. In college hostels, we have to be super careful about ventilation because of how fast these things can spread.
