How do u know if u have throat cancer?

I've been having a persistent sore throat and a hoarse voice for several weeks now, and it's not getting any better. My doctor mentioned it could be something serious, and now I'm worried about throat cancer. What are the key indicators?

Please learn from my mistake and don't ignore any long-standing throat pain or earache. I delayed going to the hospital thinking it was just a normal cold infection, which made things much worse later on. If a sore throat or swallowing issue lasts more than 3 weeks, consult an ENT doctor immediately.

I just finished my treatment last year. For me, it started with a constant hoarseness in my voice and a feeling like something was stuck in my throat when swallowing, which didn't go away for a month. Please don't ignore persistent voice changes, get an endoscopy done by an ENT specialist.

My uncle had this issue some years back. He developed a painless lump in his neck and his voice started sounding very different and raspy. He went straight to a specialist hospital where they did a biopsy to confirm it, rather than trying any home treatment.

While my fitness band tracks sleep and heart rate, it obviously can't detect things like throat cancer. If you have chronic symptoms like persistent hoarseness or difficulty swallowing, you need to log a physical doctor's appointment. Use an app to book a top-rated ENT specialist in your city for an evaluation.

I always get anxious about health symptoms because of my own chronic issues, but I try not to panic. Throat issues are usually just basic infections or acid reflux. However, since cancer is a serious thing, it is best to be cautious and let an ENT specialist check it properly.

If you are busy with work, don't waste time looking up symptoms online. A simple 15-minute consultation with an ENT doctor will give you more clarity than hours of reading. If they suspect anything, they will order a quick scan, so just get it done.

The fear of having something serious like throat cancer can be absolutely overwhelming and scary. I remember crying for days when my family member was going through a throat scare. Please talk to someone you trust and go see a doctor together, you don't have to carry this anxiety alone.

For any major concern like this, go to a good government medical college or trust-run hospital. The endoscopy and imaging tests will cost a fraction of what private labs charge. Planning your budget early helps you get all necessary tests done without financial stress.
