How do u know if u have pcos?

My periods have been very irregular for the past few months, and I've also noticed a lot of acne on my chin lately. My friend suggested it could be PCOS, and now I'm a bit worried. How do you really know if someone has it?

Mera periods hamesha late hota tha aur chehre pe bohot saare baal aane lage the. Meri chachi ne bola doctor ko dikhao toh pata chala PCOS hai. Aap bhi ek baar hospital jaake checkup kara lo, darna bilkul nahi sab theek ho jata hai.

Actually, you can first track your periods for 3 months on any normal calendar app. If cycles are super irregular and you see sudden weight gain, just book an ultrasound and meet a good gynaecologist. फालतू expensive treatments se pehle basic lifestyle change aur doctor ki advice best hai.

For me, the biggest signs were severe acne that just wouldn't go away and really painful, unpredictable periods. I went to a doctor and she suggested some blood tests and a pelvic scan to confirm. I didn't try any self-treatment, just followed whatever my doc told me to do.

Honestly, please do not ignore this like I did for almost two years thinking it is just stress. My cycles were so messy and by the time I went to the doctor, my cysts had increased and my health was ruined. Go get an ultrasound done immediately if you suspect anything is wrong.

Please don't search symptoms on Google or try those random spearmint tea and seed cycling hacks you see on Instagram. Half of those influencers have no clue. Only a real gynaecologist can tell you if you have PCOS after looking at your blood reports and scan.

Most girls at my gym discover they have PCOS when they struggle with stubborn belly fat and sudden fatigue. Clean eating, cutting down on simple sugars, and regular strength training can help manage insulin sensitivity really well. But yeah, get a proper diagnosis first before changing your routine.

PCOS is quite common nowadays but it can lead to other hormonal issues if left alone. It is always safer to consult a qualified gynaecologist and get a proper diagnosis. Do not take any home remedies or supplements without a doctor prescribing them.

I completely agree with what others are saying about irregular cycles. Just keeping a simple track of your mood swings and periods will help you explain things better to the doctor.
