Kidney disease often progresses silently without prominent symptoms in its early stages. When advanced, it can cause swollen ankles, persistent fatigue, changes in urination frequency, and puffy eyes. To get an accurate assessment, consulting a physician and getting a simple kidney function test (KFT) and urine routine is the best path.

As a mother, I learned that swelling around the eyes in the morning and swollen feet can be early warning signs of kidney issues. You might also notice frothy urine or a metallic taste in the mouth. Please remain practical, avoid self-diagnosis, and get a doctor to do proper blood and urine tests.

Since high blood sugar is a major cause of diabetic nephropathy, I have to be extremely vigilant about my kidneys. Symptoms like swollen feet, persistent itching, and foamy urine can indicate kidney damage. Always keep your blood sugar under tight control and get a microalbuminuria test done annually.

I am a bit new to learning about kidney health and I am slightly worried. My uncle has been having very itchy skin and swollen ankles lately. Are these typical symptoms of kidney disease, and which doctor should we consult first for this?

If you have swelling in your ankles, unexplained fatigue, and your urine looks unusually frothy, you should be concerned about your kidney health. Don't rely on random remedies or wait for it to worsen. Book a serum creatinine and eGFR test online and consult a nephrologist immediately.

I usually try home remedies for mild ailments, but for suspected kidney issues, home tips will not work. If you have swollen legs, puffiness around your eyes, or feel constantly tired, it is highly practical to see a doctor. Only proper clinical blood and urine tests can tell you the true status of your kidney health.

Dekho, agar tumhare pairon me hamesha sujan rehti hai aur peshab me jhaag aa raha hai, toh ye kidney ki takleef ho sakti hai. Isko halka mat lo aur na hi ghar pe baithkar time waste karo. Turant kisi acche doctor ke paas jao aur kidney function test karwao.
