How do u know if u have cavities?

Sometimes my teeth feel sensitive to cold drinks, and I'm not sure if it's just general sensitivity or something more. What are the common indicators that someone might have cavities?

My dentist explained that cavities start as microscopic enamel decay, which you might not feel at all initially. Once the decay reaches the dentin layer, you start getting sensitivity to hot and cold, and eventually a persistent toothache. He advised getting a professional dental exam every six months to detect them before they require a root canal.

Just like I go for my routine thyroid blood tests, you need regular dental checkups to catch cavities early. Usually, you'll feel a sharp pain when eating sweet, cold, or hot things, or you might see tiny black spots on your teeth. Don't wait for the pain to become unbearable, visit a dentist soon.

If you notice a small hole in your tooth, black or brown staining, or feel pain while chewing, it is likely a cavity. Please get it checked by a dentist immediately for safety. Ignoring it can lead to a severe infection inside your gums.

My mother always tells me to gargle with warm salt water when a tooth aches, which is very soothing. But for actual cavities, you definitely need a proper filling from a dentist. If you have sensitivity or notice dark spots, please book an appointment with a dental clinic.

I totally understand how dental anxiety can make you avoid finding out if you have a cavity. Feeling a dull ache, sensitivity to sweet foods, or seeing dark pits on your teeth are the classic signs. Don't worry, catching it early means a simple filling instead of a major treatment, so please make that call.

Waking up at midnight because your tooth is throbbing from that late-night sweet craving is a classic cavity wake-up call! If hot tea or cold water makes you wince, you've got one. Just go to a dentist and get it filled before it keeps you up every night.

When you have a throbbing toothache from a cavity, even a simple evening walk or workout feels impossible because of the pressure. If you feel pain when chewing or see discoloration, go get it filled. Once the dental pain is resolved, you can easily get back to your active daily routine.

Over the years, I've seen that many people ignore cavities until they can't sleep at night due to pain. Early signs are mild tooth sensitivity, rough spots on the tooth surface, or bad breath that won't go away. A quick visit to your local dentist will solve it easily.

I kept worrying that a tiny shadow on my tooth was a huge cavity that would ruin my jaw. If you're feeling sharp twinges when eating chocolate or drinking cold water, it's best to stop stressing and just get an X-ray done at a dentist. It's usually a very quick and painless fix.

Between busy office hours, ignoring a toothache is the worst thing you can do because a sudden severe flare-up will ruin your work week. If you have localized pain or food gets stuck in a particular tooth constantly, it's a cavity. Take 30 minutes out of your day and get a quick dental filling.

Lately, I feel a sudden, sharp pain in my lower left molar every time I drink cold water. Does anyone else get this kind of sensitivity, or is it definitely a cavity? I'm a bit nervous about visiting the dentist and wanted to check if this is how it starts.

Haan yaar, agar garm chai ya thanda paani peete hi jhatka lage, toh samajh lo cavity shuru ho gayi hai. Aur dant me kala spot bhi dikhta hai na kabhi kabhi. Zyada socho mat, dentist ke paas jaakar filling karwa lo, turant aaram milega.
