How do u know if u have a kidney infection?

I've been having some pain in my lower back and it hurts a bit when I pee. My friend said it could be a kidney infection. What are the common symptoms of a kidney infection that I should be aware of?

When a kidney infection hits, even the thought of delicious food makes you feel nauseous. You will experience a dull, constant ache in your lower back or side, fever, and a burning feeling when you urinate. If this happens, skip the spices and see a doctor immediately.

If you have a kidney infection, you'll feel an unbearable, throbbing pain on one side of your lower back, often accompanied by a high fever and nausea. Don't confuse it with normal muscle pain. Go get a urine routine test and see a nephrologist or physician right away.

A kidney infection, or pyelonephritis, typically presents with flank pain, painful urination, fever, and sometimes blood in the urine. It is a serious bacterial condition that can cause permanent kidney damage if left untreated. Seeking immediate medical care and completing a full course of prescribed antibiotics is the only safe course of action.

A kidney infection usually starts as a basic UTI but spreads upwards, causing high fever, chills, and severe pain in your back or side. You will also notice cloudy or smelly urine and feel the urge to pee constantly. Please don't try to treat this with just water; you need proper antibiotics prescribed by a doctor.

My grandmother used to say that drinking barley water helps with urinary burning, which is true for mild heat, but for a kidney infection, it is not enough. If you have severe lower back pain, shivering, and vomiting, it is a serious issue. Please consult a doctor immediately for a proper urine culture and treatment.
