How do u get skin cancer?

I spend a lot of time outdoors for my work, and I'm quite concerned about sun exposure and my skin. I've heard about skin cancer, and I want to know how people usually develop it. What are the main risk factors we should be aware of?

Mostly by thinking sunblock is only for Bollywood actors! But seriously, roasting yourself in the afternoon sun without protection is like inviting trouble. Use sunscreen, guys.

My uncle worked in construction outdoors for 30 years and got diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma on his nose. It is basically long-term, unprotected UV damage from the sun mutating your skin cells over decades.

I love sitting out in the winter sun while eating hot parathas, but my doctor warned me that UV rays are still active then. Prolonged exposure can damage skin cells and lead to serious issues, so I always apply sunscreen before my sunny brunch.

It is primarily caused by DNA damage from ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Always check your skin for changing moles.

I freaked out over a peeling dry patch on my shoulder thinking it was skin cancer, but it was just mild sun damage. Skin cancer is real but usually grows very slowly, so keeping an eye on changes is enough to stay safe.

I get so anxious whenever I notice a new dark mole on my arm, constantly checking if the shape has changed. Skin cancer usually happens from repeated sunburns and UV exposure. Please get any weird-looking mole checked by a dermatologist just to be safe.

I actually had a tiny melanoma spot removed from my back last year. It was a scary experience, but catching it early made the minor surgery completely successful. Please wear protective clothing and sunscreen whenever you are out.

When you do outdoor runs, the sun exposure can really add up over the years. Protecting your skin with UV-blocking gear is just as important as your cardio and clean eating habits for overall health.
