How do u get piles?

I've been having some discomfort during bowel movements, and my neighbour mentioned it could be piles. I'm a bit embarrassed, but I need to know how people usually get piles. Is it linked to my diet or maybe sitting for too long at work?

Piles or hemorrhoids usually happen when there is heavy straining during bowel movements due to chronic constipation. I found practicing regular Vajrasana after meals and gentle yoga postures really helps improve digestion and prevents this pressure naturally.

Just like high blood pressure, piles is often a result of a sedentary lifestyle and poor dietary habits. Sitting for long hours on the office chair and eating processed food causes bad digestion. Regular health checkups and fiber-rich meals can prevent this pressure.

Having high-fiber foods like oats and papaya helps soften the stool and stops the swelling. However, if you see bleeding or feel severe pain, please go see a doctor immediately instead of just relying on home remedies.

Dealing with hormonal issues has made me realize how easily our gut health gets affected. Piles often happen when a lack of fiber causes hard stools, placing pressure on the rectal veins. Please consult a doctor to get a proper stool softener rather than struggling in silence.

I literally just recovered from this last month, and honestly, it was all due to my habit of sitting on the toilet with my phone for 20 minutes. That extra pressure swells up the veins. Eating salad twice a day and finish-and-leave bathroom habit cured me.

Do not feel stressed or embarrassed about this condition, as mental stress only tenses up your body muscles. Drink plenty of water, eat simple food with gratitude, and let your body heal itself peacefully.
