How do u get gum disease?

Recently, my gums started bleeding a little when I brush, and sometimes they feel swollen. My dentist mentioned it could be gum issues. I want to understand what makes people get gum disease in the first place, or if I'm doing something wrong.

I used to get bleeding gums every time I brushed too hard. For me, switching to a soft-bristle toothbrush and rinsing with warm salt water after meals really changed things, but that's just my personal experience.

It can happen to anyone even if we try to keep clean. Just take it easy and visit a dentist, they will clean it up easily for you.

I felt so embarrassed to smile or talk to people because my gums looked red and bled so easily. I kept thinking it was my fault and felt so guilty about my hygiene. Please don't feel bad, it's actually very common and gets much better once you get professional help.

Haan na, we sometimes forget how important gums are until they start hurting. It mostly happens when plaque builds up near the roots. Just go to a dentist once and get it checked, ho na, otherwise it keeps troubling you.

Hey, don't stress too much about this! Gums are super sensitive and plaque buildup happens to the best of us when we miss flossing. Just book a quick dental cleanup session and you'll be completely fine, chill.

It usually starts when food particles get stuck and turn into plaque! Brushing twice a day and flossing is the magic trick here. A quick visit to the dentist will make your pearly whites happy again! 😁

I thought a little blood while brushing was normal and did nothing for years. Eventually, I had to undergo a painful and expensive deep scaling treatment because my gums had receded. Get a dental checkup right away, don't repeat my mistake.

Dental treatments can get really expensive if you let the problem grow. A basic cleaning costs around 1000 to 1500 rupees at a local clinic, which is much cheaper than root canals or gum surgery later. Plan a budget and get it cleaned now itself.

I ignored my bleeding gums for a year and it turned into severe periodontitis, which actually weakened my jawbone. Please don't ignore even mild swelling or redness. Go to a proper dentist immediately before it affects your teeth permanently.

In our days, we used to do oil pulling with sesame oil to keep the gums strong and healthy. Of course, modern habits like eating too many sugary foods cause rapid plaque. Try rinsing with warm salt water daily, but do consult a dentist if there is pain.
