How do u contract hepatitis?

I'm trying to learn more about infectious diseases for general awareness. Could someone explain the common ways different types of hepatitis can be contracted? I want to be informed about how it spreads.

I totally get it, hearing about different types of hepatitis can make you feel so anxious and overwhelmed. Depending on whether it is A, B, or C, it can come from contaminated food or blood. Don't worry too much, just practicing basic hygiene and taking vaccinations keeps us safe.

Look, don't mix up all the types. Hepatitis A and E usually spread through contaminated water and outside street food, while B and C are blood-borne. Just be careful about where you drink water from, and always ensure clean syringes are used during any medical test.

Haan na, it is so confusing because there are so many letters like A, B, C! Actually, mostly we get Hep A from eating dirty outside food during monsoon. Thoda hygiene maintain karo and always boil your drinking water at home.

People online will tell you random things, but hepatitis is a serious viral infection of the liver with different transmission paths. Never try self-diagnosing with internet checklists. If you suspect any liver issue or yellow eyes, consult a qualified gastroenterologist immediately.

It spreads either through contaminated food and water (like Hep A) or infected blood and fluids (like Hep B and C). Always eat from clean places and get vaccinated.

According to my physician, Hepatitis A and E are fecal-oral infections, meaning they come from contaminated water or poorly washed food. On the other hand, B, C, and D are transmitted via blood, contaminated needles, or intimate contact. Knowing the specific type is crucial for proper prevention.

Whether it is blood-borne or food-borne, any liver strain can badly affect your overall health and metabolic rate. Just like managing my blood pressure, keeping a clean lifestyle, eating low-oil foods, and getting regular liver function tests is highly recommended.

I got so terrified after reading about liver damage from hepatitis that I stopped eating outside altogether. Is it true that even sharing a towel can spread some types? I really think we should all be extra careful and get our blood checked regularly.

Because hepatitis can remain silent in the body without showing any symptoms for years, it is highly dangerous to guess. If you have been exposed or feel unusually fatigued, please get a proper medical viral screening done immediately. Safety must always come first.

I have seen many discussions on this in our group. To keep it simple: Hep A is from dirty water/food, so stick to home-cooked meals during rains. For Hep B, the vaccine is easily available at any local clinic, so please get your shots done.
