How do phones affect mental health?

I spend a lot of time on my phone, and sometimes I feel a bit drained or anxious after. How do phones actually affect our mental health, especially with all the social media and constant notifications? Is it really a big issue?

Too much screen time can quietly make us feel lonely and anxious because we keep comparing ourselves to others. Just remember that what you see online isn't the whole reality. Try to take small breaks and breathe, you are doing fine.

Excessive phone use definitely spikes anxiety and messes up your sleep cycle. Setting a daily screen limit is highly recommended.

Honestly, I used to feel so bad looking at everyone's perfect lives on Instagram. I uninstalled the app for a week and my mood improved so much. Now I just try to call my friends instead of looking at their stories all day.

If phone addiction is causing you severe sleep issues, constant anxiety, or depression, it is important not to ignore it. These symptoms can impact your nervous system, so consulting a clinical psychologist or doctor is the safest way to get proper help.

Haan na, phones have totally ruined our peace of mind! Late night scrolling makes us so irritated the next morning. Actually, keeping the phone in another room before sleeping really helps to calm the brain, ho na.

I started tracking my screen time using my phone's built-in digital wellbeing app, and I was shocked to see 6 hours daily. Cutting it down to 2 hours and setting app timers has drastically reduced my daily anxiety levels. It is a great way to take control of your mental health.

I totally get it, the constant notifications and doomscrolling can make you feel so overwhelmed and exhausted. Sometimes you just need to turn off all alerts and sit quietly for an hour. Your mind deserves a break from the constant noise.
