How do jellyfish sleep without a brain?

I was watching a documentary about sea creatures and it mentioned that jellyfish don't have brains. This made me really curious. So, how do jellyfish sleep if they don't have a brain?

It is fascinating that they enter a state of reduced activity and responsiveness, showing that sleep is a basic cellular necessity even without a central nervous system. For human sleep disorders, though, we shouldn't rely on general trivia or self-help; consulting a sleep specialist is always the best way to resolve insomnia.

They use a diffuse nerve net instead of a centralized brain to slow down their pulsations at night. In humans, our complex nervous system needs proper circadian rhythm management to rest well. If you are struggling with sleep issues, try practical steps like keeping your room dark and avoiding screens before bed.

I was actually reading about this during my long bouts of insomnia last month when I couldn't sleep at all. Turns out they just have a drop in activity levels which acts like sleep for them. Thankfully, my own sleep cycle is finally back to normal after fixing my routine and cutting caffeine.

It is amazing how nature works, but speaking of sleep, please don't ignore chronic sleep issues like I did for a year, thinking it was normal stress. It eventually led to severe exhaustion and a major health scare. If you are having trouble sleeping, please get a checkup done immediately.
