How do i know if i've had a heart attack?

A few days ago, I had a sudden, crushing chest pain that went down my arm, and I felt very breathless. It subsided after some time, but my husband is very worried and insisted I ask if it could have been a heart attack, even if it passed.

If you or someone else experienced heavy pressure in the chest, pain radiating to the left arm or jaw, along with cold sweating, these are serious signs of a heart attack. Please do not wait to ask people online. Go to the nearest major hospital's emergency room immediately and get an ECG and Troponin test.

Sometimes people confuse severe acidity or gas pain with a heart attack, but you should never take a chance. If the chest discomfort is accompanied by breathlessness, sweating, and dizziness, it is a medical emergency. Keep a sorbitrate or aspirin tablet at home and call an ambulance immediately instead of trying home remedies.

Beta, if there is a sudden squeezing pain in the chest, breathing difficulty, and heavy sweating even in a cool room, please do not ignore it. Tell your neighbors or family instantly and head to the city hospital. Do not wait for the morning or try any household cures.

Even if you are extremely fit, cardiac events can happen due to stress or underlying issues. If you experience crushing chest pain, sudden breathlessness during or after a workout, and cold sweat, do not assume it is just fatigue or a muscle pull. Get medical help immediately, as early intervention is lifesaving.

As someone who works in health services, I can tell you that time is muscle when it comes to the heart. Symptoms like central chest heaviness, pain spreading to your neck, back, or jaw, and sudden lightheadedness are classic red flags. If you experience this, do not drive yourself—call for emergency medical help immediately.

Actually yaar, a heart attack is not always like the movies where a person suddenly falls down clutching their chest. It can feel like a heavy weight sitting on your chest, or intense choking pressure that doesn't go away with antacids. If you are feeling even slightly like this, please rush to a hospital immediately.
