How do i keep my ipad from going to sleep?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I spend a lot of time reading on my iPad, especially health articles at night. It's annoying when the screen keeps going to sleep. How can I keep my iPad from automatically locking or going to sleep while I'm using it?

You can easily change this setting on your iPad. Just go to your Settings, tap on 'Display & Brightness', and then select 'Auto-Lock'. You can set it to 'Never' so it stays awake as long as you need.

My son showed me how to do this when I was trying to read recipes. You just have to go to the iPad Settings, open the Display section, and change the Auto-Lock timer. However, do make sure you give your eyes a break and don't stare at the screen for too long!

Setting your iPad to never sleep is fine, but remember it will drain your battery much faster, and replacing iPad batteries is very expensive! Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock and set a longer timer like 10 or 15 minutes instead of 'Never' to save energy.

You can change the Auto-Lock settings to 'Never' on your iPad so it doesn't sleep. But on a serious note, since we are talking about screen time, my eye specialist at the clinic strongly advised keeping screen usage limited, especially before bedtime, to avoid eye strain.

Oh, don't stress too much about it, it is a super quick fix! Just head over to your iPad Settings, click on 'Display & Brightness', and change the 'Auto-Lock' setting to 'Never'. Just don't forget to lock it manually when you are done, or the battery will die!
