How do doctors check your liver?

My recent blood test showed slightly elevated liver enzymes, and the doctor advised a follow-up. I'm trying to understand what kind of tests or procedures they typically use to properly check the health of my liver.

Having warm warm water and cutting down on oily food is very good for a tired liver. But to know the real condition, you must see a doctor for an LFT blood test and an ultrasound. Do not try to treat severe fatigue or yellow eyes only with home remedies.

Haan, liver checkup ke liye sabse pehle Liver Function Test yaani LFT ka blood test hota hai. Uske baad doctor ek simple ultrasound likhte hain jisse size aur fatty liver ka pata chal sake. Bahut hi standard process hai, darna mat na.

I got my liver checked after a period of bad eating habits. They just did a quick blood test called LFT and an ultrasound scan of my abdomen. It is super simple and you get the reports within a day.

Please do not ignore any signs like persistent abdominal swelling or pale stools. I had some liver complications because I delayed my tests, but the doctors diagnosed it using blood tests and a fibroscan. Please consult a gastroenterologist immediately.

With PCOS, I have to be very careful about fatty liver risks, so my doctor keeps an eye on it. They usually run regular liver function blood tests and do a pelvic or abdominal ultrasound. It is best to let your doctor guide you based on your specific health profile.

If you are short on time, just book an LFT blood test and a whole abdomen ultrasound online. You can get both done in the morning and show the reports to a physician in the evening. It saves you making multiple trips to the clinic.

My doctor explained that liver health is checked using three main steps: blood tests (LFT) to check enzyme levels, imaging like an ultrasound to see the physical structure, and sometimes a Fibroscan to check for stiffness. It gives a very complete picture of your liver health.
