How do dentists remove cavities?

My brother needs to get a cavity treated soon and he's quite anxious. I want to understand what the general procedure is like. How do dentists actually remove cavities before they do the filling? What steps are involved?

They first make the area numb with a little medicine so you do not feel any pain. Then they clean out all the black decayed part with a small machine and put a nice, strong cement filling to seal it up.

They basically drill out the rotten bits of the tooth so you can get back to eating your favorite sweets pain-free! After clearing the decay, they seal it with a composite so no food particles can get stuck there again.

They use a tiny drill to scrape out the soft, decayed enamel, ho na. Once the area is completely clean and germ-free, they fill it up and polish it. It is very fast and you won't feel anything because of the local anesthesia.

Listen, there is no magic to it. They use a high-speed dental drill to physically cut away the decayed portion of the tooth. If you don't get it removed now, the infection will reach the nerve and you'll end up paying for a root canal.

Think of them as professional cavity busters! They vacuum and drill out the bad guys from your tooth, then seal the cave with white cement so they can't return. It's much less scary than it sounds, honestly.

They will gently numb your tooth, clean away the decayed area using precise dental instruments, and fill it securely. It is a very safe and routine process, so please don't worry.
