How did malaria begin?

We hear so much about malaria every year, especially during monsoon season, and all the preventative measures. It got me thinking about the disease itself. I'm interested to know, how did malaria actually begin in humans or in general?

Biologically, malaria has been around for millions of years, originating from single-celled parasites that infected ancient animals and eventually adapted to humans. At the hospital where I go, they emphasize that it is spread through infected Anopheles mosquitoes. If you have fever with chills, go get a blood test immediately.

Don't believe random online posts claiming malaria started from modern pollution or can be cured with home remedies. It is an ancient disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite. If you suspect you have malaria, verify it with a proper blood smear test and see a certified doctor.

I was actually researching this online and found out that malaria parasites probably co-evolved with early hominids in Africa thousands of years ago. It's crazy to think that such a tiny parasite has been affecting human history for so long. It definitely shows how strong nature can be.

I always get so worried during the monsoon, constantly searching about malaria and dengue outbreaks. It began ages ago through evolutionary parasites, but today we can prevent it by keeping our surroundings clean. Make sure to use mosquito nets and don't let water stagnate.

My daughter got malaria last year and it was a very tough week for us. The disease itself is ancient, starting from parasites in tropical regions and spreading via mosquito bites. I had to become super practical about putting mesh on windows and spraying repellent before she goes to play.

While studying the historical origin of malaria is fine, what matters today is prevention and quick action. It spreads when the parasite enters your bloodstream from a mosquito bite. If you or anyone at home has high fever with shivering, get it checked at a clinic immediately for safety.

I totally get how unsettling it can be to think about how these dangerous diseases started and how they still affect us. Malaria is indeed a very old illness that has caused a lot of pain throughout history. Just keep yourself protected and seek help if you feel unwell.

Haan, malaria toh bahut purani bimari hai, humare purvajon ke time se chali aa rahi hai. Ye vahi macchar ke kaatne se jo parasite failta hai, usise shuru hoti hai. Toh apne ghar ke paas paani mat jama hone do, safe raho na.
