How contagious is tb in humans?

There's always news about TB cases in our country, and it makes me wonder about how easily it can spread. Especially with kids going to school and all, I feel worried. How contagious is TB in humans, generally speaking?

TB spreads through the air, and for people like me with diabetes, our lowered immunity makes us more vulnerable. If you have been exposed, keep a close watch on your health. Don't let your blood sugar spike as it makes fighting infections harder.

It only spreads if it's active lung TB, through coughing or sneezing. Keeping your immunity strong with regular exercise and a high-protein diet helps, but if you are around an active patient, make sure you both wear masks to be safe.

It spreads when an active patient coughs near you. Just take basic precautions, keep your distance, and support them through their recovery journey.

It is contagious but only if you spend a lot of time indoors with someone who has active untreated TB. Casual contact like shaking hands doesn't spread it. Just keep the windows open for good ventilation and don't panic.

TB is a disease of the air, beta. If someone in the family has it, give them a separate room and plates for a few weeks. Once the government medicines start, the risk of spreading goes away quickly.

I had pleural effusion because of TB, and it was a painful nightmare. It spreads through microscopic air droplets, so please don't take a lingering cough lightly. Get a specialist to evaluate your symptoms before any complications happen.

Haan na, people get so scared thinking it spreads just by touching. It only spreads through coughing, and that too if it is active. Proper ventilation and masks are enough to keep everyone safe at home.

TB is infectious, and you shouldn't rely on guesswork. If you have a cough that has lasted more than two weeks, along with night sweats, please visit a doctor and get a sputum test and chest X-ray done immediately.
