How common is yellow fever?

I'm planning an international trip soon, and some of the travel advisories mentioned vaccinations for yellow fever. I've never heard of it before. How common is yellow fever, especially here in India or generally in the world?

Yellow fever is basically non-existent in India, thank goodness! We already have enough local mosquitoes to worry about with dengue and malaria. Just get the yellow fever vaccine if you are traveling to Africa or South America, otherwise relax.

With my PCOS, I already worry about my immune system, but yellow fever is not something we have to worry about locally. It is only prevalent in specific foreign tropical zones. Just check travel advisories if you plan to go abroad.

I had to travel to Kenya for work last year and had to get the yellow fever vaccine at a government clinic. In India, it is not common at all, but they require the shot to prevent it from entering our country.

It can be so stressful reading about scary tropical diseases online. Fortunately, yellow fever is not found in India, so you can breathe easy. Don't let health anxiety get the best of you over this.

Zero cases in India, so don't waste time worrying about it here. If you are traveling to endemic regions for business, just book your vaccination slot at least 10 days before your flight. That is all you need to do.

Lol, my friend thought yellow fever was just severe jaundice. It is actually a mosquito-borne virus that we don't even have in India. No need to stress about it unless you are planning an exotic African safari.

It is completely non-existent here. India is a yellow-fever-free zone. Unless you are traveling to South America or Africa, you don't even need to think about this vaccination.

I totally panicked when I saw a news article about yellow fever travel mandates, thinking there was an outbreak here! But turns out it is not common in India at all. The vaccine mandate is just a smart preventive rule for travelers.

Don't fall for internet posts claiming certain herbs cure yellow fever. It is a serious viral disease not found in India, and the only real protection is the official vaccine if you are traveling. Always consult certified travel medicine doctors.

My elders always tell me to drink neem water to ward off all fevers, but for yellow fever, the reality is that it doesn't occur in India. Our government is very strict about vaccination certificates for international travelers to keep it that way. Always consult a doctor before traveling abroad.

When I went to my hospital for my travel health clearance, the doctors clearly explained that yellow fever is absent in India. They will guide you on the exact vaccination protocol required for your destination. Just consult them directly.

Listen, yellow fever is not an issue in India. Our authorities make sure anyone coming from infected countries is quarantined. Just focus on keeping dengue mosquitoes away from your home, that is the real threat here.
