How common is vestibular migraine?

I've been having these episodes of dizziness and imbalance along with my regular migraines lately. My doctor mentioned 'vestibular migraine' as a possibility. I'm curious to know, how common is vestibular migraine? Is it something many people experience?

I deal with PCOS, so hormonal fluctuations often trigger bad headaches, and sometimes this vestibular dizziness too. I don't know the exact medical stats, but I have met many women online who suffer from this combo. Please consult a doctor for a proper plan.

It is actually more common than people think, but often misdiagnosed as simple dizziness. I ignored my spinning sensations until I had a bad fall due to loss of balance. Please get it checked by a neurologist before it gets worse.

These balance-related migraines are becoming quite common due to our hectic modern lives. Just keep your mind calm, practice deep breathing, and take proper rest. God willing, with correct medical care and a positive mindset, you will feel better soon.

It is highly common in high-stress corporate environments. People just call it 'giddiness' and ignore it, which is stupid. If you get vertigo along with light sensitivity, go see an ENT or neurologist instead of popping random painkillers.

Oh, vestibular migraine is so annoying, you feel like the whole room is spinning without even having a typical headache! A lot of my friends also experience this during stressful weeks. Staying hydrated and avoiding bright screens really helps a bit.

It is fairly common, especially if your sleep cycle and diet are messed up. I find that keeping a consistent workout routine and cutting down on caffeine triggers helps keep my balance issues in check. But definitely let a doctor look into it first.
