How common is basal cell skin cancer?

I've always worked outdoors and spent a lot of time in the sun. Recently, I noticed a strange growth on my hand, and my neighbour suggested I get it checked for skin cancer. How common is basal cell skin cancer, actually?

Oh god, I actually got a tiny pearly bump on my nose last month and panicked thinking it was this. It turns out basal cell is actually the most common type of skin cancer globally, but it grows very slowly and rarely spreads. Still, please go get any weird new spot checked by a dermatologist to be totally safe.

Keeping our bodies in harmony with nature is beautiful, but medical issues need medical eyes. Basal cell is very common and thankfully slow-moving. Please consult a dermatologist for any suspicious skin patches, and keep practicing yoga in the early morning gentle sunlight to stay healthy.

According to dermatological data, basal cell carcinoma is extremely common, especially in individuals with prolonged sun exposure. My dermatologist colleague always emphasizes that while it is technically a cancer, it is slow-growing and highly curable with minor local surgery. Wearing sunscreen daily with SPF 30+ is your best preventive step.

It is the most common form of skin cancer, but it is highly treatable when found early. A simple dermatologist visit will help clear your doubts.

My health app often publishes articles on sun safety, and basal cell skin cancer is actually the most frequently diagnosed skin cancer. It mostly affects areas exposed to the sun like the face and neck. If you track your outdoor runs, always log your sunscreen application too!

Beta, while protecting our skin from harsh afternoon sun is important, home remedies like aloe vera cannot cure skin cancers. This is a very common issue but it requires proper doctor's treatment. If you see a scab or sore that doesn't heal for weeks, show it to a skin specialist.
