How can you tell if you have tb?

I've had a cough for a few weeks now and feel quite tired, plus I've lost some weight without trying. My family is worried it might be TB because it's common here, but I don't know what to look for.

If you are waking up drenched in sweat in the middle of the night and coughing like crazy, you might want to look into it. Honestly, my sleep is already ruined, but if it is because of a continuous cough for over three weeks, it is a serious sign. Go get it checked before you lose all your sleep and weight.

I always keep a close eye on my health parameters. If you have a persistent cough along with a low-grade fever that rises in the evening, these are classic signs. Along with your regular BP checks, please go for a chest X-ray and sputum test as recommended by a doctor.

I had a bad cough for almost a month with mild fever, and I completely panicked thinking it was TB. When I finally went to the doctor, it turned out to be just a bad allergic bronchitis. So please don't stress yourself out prematurely; just get a simple doctor's checkup to find out the real cause.

People with diabetes have weaker immunity, so we must be very careful about infections like TB. If you notice a cough that produces phlegm (sometimes with blood), chest pain, and unexplained weight loss, seek medical help immediately. Managing your blood sugar is vital, but getting a proper TB sputum test is the absolute priority here.

My roommate had TB last year, and she started losing weight very suddenly without any change in her diet. She also felt tired all the time and had a nagging cough that just wouldn't go away with normal cough syrups. If you have had a cough for more than 2-3 weeks, please see a doctor, it is fully curable with proper timely medicine.
