How can i stop arthritis pain at night?

Been suffering from arthritis in my knees for a few years now. The daytime pain is manageable, but at night, it gets really bad and disturbs my sleep. Can anything be done to get some relief so I can rest properly?

Night pain is the absolute worst because your mind just focuses on it. Try using a warm heating pad before sleeping, but do check with your doctor if the pain keeps getting worse.

Keep your mind peaceful before sleeping and don't let the pain discourage you. A light massage with warm mustard oil or sesame oil before bed might bring some gentle relief.

Arthritis pain at night can completely ruin sleep. Try applying a warm compress or pain relief gel before bed.

Ensure you are taking your prescribed medications at the right time, as some are meant to be taken after dinner to prevent night stiffness. Talk to your doctor to see if your medicine schedule needs a slight adjustment.

I recently changed my routine and started doing mild stretching in the evening, and it really brought down the night pain. Definitely ask your doctor about some safe evening stretches.

Doing some very gentle joint rotation movements and deep breathing before sleeping helps release the stiffness. Also, keeping your room warm can make a big difference for your joints.

My granddad had this issue a lot. We got him a good orthopedic pillow and a hot water bag, which actually helped him sleep much better.
