How can i make myself sleep faster?

After a long day, I often struggle to actually fall asleep quickly, even when I'm tired. I usually end up tossing and turning for a while. Are there some simple tricks to help me drift off to sleep much faster?

Let's be direct, staring at your phone in bed is the main reason you aren't sleeping. Put your screen away at least 45 minutes before you want to sleep and keep the room pitch black. It works much better than any random trick.

I also struggle a lot with falling asleep quickly and it makes my mornings very difficult. I read that deep breathing exercises in bed can help calm the mind. Does anyone know which specific breathing technique works best for fast sleep?

If this sleep issue is affecting your daily productivity, please consult a doctor at a proper clinic. Don't rely on self-medication or OTC pills to fall asleep faster. A doctor can easily evaluate if there is any underlying cause like stress or vitamin deficiency.

I used to suffer from severe insomnia, and the 4-7-8 breathing method was a lifesaver for me. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale slowly for 8 seconds. Combine this with a strict wake-up schedule, and your body clock will reset within a week.

Haan, phone use karna band karoge toh sleep apne aap jaldi aayegi, na. Try drinking a cup of warm chamomile tea or warm milk before lying down. Dimaag ko shanti milti hai isse, try karke dekho.

In our time, we always washed our feet with cool water and massaged them slightly before sleeping to relax the body. Eating a light, early dinner also helps the system settle down naturally. Avoid heavy foods and screen time late in the evening.
