How big is a human kidney?

I was just watching a documentary about human anatomy and it made me wonder. What's the typical size of a human kidney? Is it similar to a small fruit or something?

A normal human kidney is about 10 to 12 cm long, which is roughly the size of a clenched fist or a computer mouse. Please don't believe online blogs claiming you can increase or decrease kidney size with herbs. Always verify your kidney health and size through a proper ultrasound prescribed by a medical doctor.

It is roughly 4 to 5 inches long, about the size of a large fist. To keep them functioning at their best, I make sure to stay well-hydrated during my workouts and avoid excessive protein powder without enough water. Just eat clean and let them do their job.

Think of it as the size of a smartphone or a computer mouse, about 11 cm in length. We have two of them, and they work constantly to filter our blood. As long as you drink decent water and manage your BP, they stay healthy and work perfectly.

Look, an adult kidney is simply the size of your closed fist, about 10 to 12 cm. There is no need to overcomplicate this or get scared by medical terms. If you are drinking enough water and don't have severe back pain, your kidneys are likely doing just fine.

Bro, a kidney is pretty much the size of a soap bar or your fist, around 10-12 cm. I had to get an ultrasound for back pain once and the doctor showed me the measurements on screen. It is surprisingly small for doing such a massive job in our body.

A kidney is actually quite small, about the size of a computer mouse or a standard smartphone, around 10-12 cm. It is amazing how such small organs do so much work for us daily. Just keep drinking enough water to keep them happy and healthy!
