How big are kidney stones?

The doctor told me I have kidney stones, and now I'm just trying to understand more about them. How big do they generally get, or what's the typical size that causes problems?

Bro, they can be as tiny as a grain of sand or as big as a golf ball in extreme cases. I had a 5mm stone last year and it hurt like hell until it finally passed. If it's bigger than 6mm, doctors usually recommend some treatment to break it.

They can be very small like mustard seeds, ho na. But even the tiny ones can cause so much pain in the stomach and back. It is better to get an ultrasound done to know the exact size.

Most kidney stones are under 5mm and can pass naturally if you drink plenty of water. Once they cross 8mm or 10mm, they might get stuck in the urinary tract, which needs medical procedures. Keep track of the size through regular scans.

Kidney stones are usually small, like small pebbles. For minor stones, drinking coconut water and warm water with lemon juice can help them flush out easily. But if the stone is very big, you must take proper medical advice from a doctor.

The size ranges from 1mm to over 20mm. Don't waste time guessing based on pain levels because even a small stone can cause severe blockage. Get an ultrasound done immediately so you can plan your treatment without disrupting work.

Kidney stones can range from a tiny grain of sand to several centimeters in size. An ultrasound is required to find the exact dimensions.
