How bad is stage 4 lung cancer?

My uncle has been a smoker for decades, and unfortunately, he's just received a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer. The whole family is in shock. Can someone tell us how serious stage 4 lung cancer usually is?

My grandfather was diagnosed with this and it was really tough on the whole family. It is a super heavy diagnosis, but there are new treatments like immunotherapy that can help patients live with better quality of life. Just try to support them as much as possible.

Stage 4 lung cancer is a very serious and advanced diagnosis where the cancer has spread to other parts of the body. While managing overall health and keeping sugar levels stable is important for patients, this is a critical medical condition that requires immediate oncology treatment. Please don't try to self-manage with diet changes alone.

I agree with everyone that immediate specialized care is critical. Getting a second opinion from a major oncology hospital can also help you find the best treatment options.

Please do not delay any treatments or ignore symptoms like breathing difficulty or coughing up blood. I once delayed getting a persistent cough checked, which thankfully wasn't cancer but still caused severe damage. With stage 4, you must be under the immediate care of a top oncologist.

Stage 4 is a very advanced and difficult stage, my child. While sipping on warm tulsi tea can help soothe the throat or cough, these simple home remedies are only for comfort. The real fight requires the guidance of big cancer doctors, so please follow their words completely.
