How bad is stage 3 chronic kidney disease?

My mother was recently told she has stage 3 chronic kidney disease. We know it's serious, but we're trying to gauge the severity of this stage. How much does it impact daily life, and what can we expect?

Honestly, keeping up with kidney diets and doctors while trying to sleep is a full-time job. Stage 3 is serious because your kidney function is down to half, but it's not the end of the world. Just drink water as advised, cut down on the salty snacks, and get some sleep.

At stage 3, your body is working harder to filter out toxins, so gentle practices like pranayama can help manage stress and blood pressure. Always balance your medical treatments with a calm mind and a light, kidney-friendly diet. Please do not strain yourself and follow your nephrologist's advice.

Stage 3 chronic kidney disease is a critical phase where you must prevent further progression to kidney failure. You absolutely need to get regular blood filtration tests and urine protein checks. Please make sure you are seeing a qualified nephrologist at a good hospital regularly.

Your kidneys are basically running on a half-day shift now, so you have to stop overloading them with heavy work! It's a serious diagnosis, but with the right diet and BP control, you can keep them chugging along fine. Just treat them like high-maintenance guests from now on.

Please do not trust any WhatsApp forwards or internet remedies claiming to fully cure stage 3 kidney disease with herbs or special juices. Some of these alternative herbal concoctions can actually overload your kidneys and cause acute failure. Stick strictly to what your modern nephrologist prescribes.

Stage 3 CKD requires immediate and strict lifestyle modification, no excuses. Cut down on high sodium, manage your blood sugar levels, and get your GFR monitored every few months. Work out a highly specific medical and diet plan with a top nephrologist.

I was looking this up recently because a family member was diagnosed, and it's crazy how you can have stage 3 kidney disease without even feeling very sick. It seems managing blood pressure and diet strictly is what keeps it from moving to stage 4. Definitely a wake-up call to take health seriously.
